How Swans Island Rent-A-Trap Works . . .

A lobster trap is tended(once or twice a week depending on weather and catch rates)specifically for you by Captain Joyce.

The lobsters caught in your trap are tallied and held in storage in the chilly waters of Burnt Coat Harbor on Swans Island.

When your trap has caught a minimum of 4 lobsters, you will be notified of their "ready to ship" status and they will be shipped to the address that you have pre-selected for delivery.Imagine the look on your friends/business associates face when fresh Maine lobster are delivered to their door from your own trap!

In the event that you wish not to have the minimum amount sent as soon as they are caught, the lobsters will be held only as long as deemed necessary to retain their freshness and tastiness. After all, you want the freshest lobster possible from your trap! Straight from the rockbound pristine Swans Island fishing grounds to your door! The lobsters approximate size and weight will be tallied and kept on record in your personal "Virtual Lobster Crate" and emailed to you weekly. When you decide you are ready for a shipment, let our shipper know via phone call or e-mail when and where you want your replacment fresh caughts shipped. Captain joyce will send the newest caught lobsters out of his own personal traps asap!

Among all the benefits described on the "what's included" link, one of the greatest will be the difference in taste. You can't even compare the difference between a fresh caught Maine lobster from Swans Islands cold pure waters, and a lobster you might get elsewhere that has significant time in the grocery store getting acquainted with the filtered water in a tank. Your Maine lobster will come from the trap, to a crate in Burnt Coat Harbor on beautiful Swans Island,Maine, to the shipper who will send it to you via Fed-Ex.

From the Trap to your door as soon as possible. It doesn't get any better than that!
