All Conservation Rent-A-Trap trapped lobsters will be released and all legal-sized female lobsters will be v-notched (see image below) in addition to being tagged with the website name for tracking purposes. Your v-notched female lobster, if recaptured, will be released, as it can never legally be sold or eaten. If the lobster is caught later by anyone, he/she has the ability to e-mail the location to the web site, and you can view online the coordinates of where all Conservation lobsters were re-released and last seen.
You will be provided with a weekly online video documenting the release of all lobsters, as well as the v-notching and tagging of all female lobsters captured in your conservation trap.
